Weird Al surely made a funny song, but your 'animation' didn't in any way add to the humor. It was just simply depicting the lyrics in no special or noteworthy way. "Pirating music" made me chuckle a bit though, and overall your drawing style fitted neatly, so keep on practicing, especially when it comes to animation.

IMO a very selfish message.

Wikipedia is a free, open encyclopedia and has the aim of collecting scientific knowledge about the respective topics. There are still a whole lot of entries on Wikipedia, which are - no offense - obsolete.

Apart from that, I found your submission quite cute and well drawn. I don't think it was especially funny, entertaining or original though. At least not funny, entertaining or original enough to mention your work in an encyclopedia. Don't get me wrong, your work isn't bad. But I find your request of including aspiring artists into Wikipedia. That would be like giving 2nd or 3rd Division soccer players their own Wiki-entry.

Frankly, I find that if a site is as large as Wikipedia is, they can find room for people who work every single day of their life at nothing more than making people happy through artwork. But perhaps they are "above" such things. I find no issue in giving 2nd or 3rd Division soccer players their own entry. The internet is certain big enough, and these people work just as hard as the 1st string, even if they don't get as much field time. But more than any of that, it is the WAY Wikipedia informs people that they are not permitted to be mentioned, with brash words like "non-notable - delete" or "fails". I do not agree with this method of dealing with people.

Anyway, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm glad you liked the art style of the cartoon and animation, even if you didn't agree with it. =)

First and foremost, that was a great work! It's this kind of movies that keep me coming back to NG for more than 2 years now. You might notice that I gave your work a Style rating of 10; that's because you stated that your movie bases on a real story. I think you perfectly caught the teaching behind the story.

I pray to every single earthling-god(I'm not religious ;)) that there won't be too many neo-liberalist fascists (to a large extent originating from the United States of UKnowWhere) who vote badly because of their dumb prejudices...

[MK vs. SF]

I liked it very much!

Usually, Im not very much into sprite movies, though I also am not totally against them. But this one had some things I really liked.

1st : I played both Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat a lot when I was younger and those were 2 series that brought me to beat'em ups in the first place, so you got a point there only for me, which is recall value.

2nd : You managed to compose some fast and cool combos which had some real 'smack' to them. I think it is a really good job for a single person you've done there!

3rd : Except for one sequence, when Raiden and Ken evade each others attacks for a long time, there are NO sounds. This was IMHO the one single downside that really bothered me much. And this was also the reason why it got 'only' 8 Pts in the sound rating.

Nevertheless I gave the movie no full ten pts in its overall rating. That's because I only give this rating when I think the artist behind the movie also showed off real artistic talent; and this includes drawing for me.

Man, this one really missed the 10 by just a tiny little bit!!

Maybe it's because I saw Metal Slug vs. Numa Numa and this frontpage-getting piece of crap got me quite uptight...

But to be honest, you have serious skill! I bow down before thee, thou my god of animation skills! Sadly it wasn't THAT funny... though it was actually pretty funny...

GEE OKAY MAN, IT GETS THE TEN! ^^

[Fantastic Realm Chapter 2]

VERY bad recording qualitiy!

I gave this movie a 3/5 because the recording quality was SO BAD, I couldn't understand even a half of the story. I can understand that it might have been necessary, but there are other ways to reduce file size than screwing up the voice overs...

Therefore it lost a lot of its sympathy with me, I think I had voted 5/5 and 10/10 if I had understood the voices properly.

Actually, it has nothing to do with the recording quality. The noise you hear is flash's horrible sound compression. And no, there is nothing that can be done. To get this movie close to 5 megs, sound is what had to go. We had already stripped a bunch of artwork out. Both the artwork and sound suffered greatly, it was heartbreaking! Hopefully some time we can post streaming quicktime toons... then this can all be avoided. :)

[Super Mario Toads Rage 8]

I never liked the series very much...

Okay, somehow it's really original, but the way it is presented is quite boring. Not half as entertaining as playing Mortal Kombat I a second time after seeing all Fatalities.

I think you should really improve on the pace of your action. The drawing and animation by themselves are really good, but there are far too many far too long breaks between their actions.

I hope you'll make the ending a bit more fast-paced and longer. ~1½ mins at such a slow pace of action aren't very entertaining IMHO...

But don't take this personally, I just don't find it entertaining the way it is...
